Cry Baby Cry.

My latest recording on the Zoom is one of my favorite Beatles tunes. I recorded it in my car in a restaurant parking lot while waiting for some Italian take-out.

I really just wanted an excuse to double-track my vocals.

At last a Uke player with a great singing voice! I found the link to this site via your fleamarket post. I am thinking of getting an H4 (and now probably will). I primarily play nylon guitar (non classical) so was interested on the quality of the mic recording.

What Uke were you using and also what settings on the H4? One other thing, is the multitracking relatively easy to do (I used to have a cassette tape multi tracking recorder in the 90’s but just want a simple set up as it’s just me and my guitar.)

Congratulations on your result - well played, well sung and well recorded!

    Kind regards,

    Grant

    Thanks, Grant!

I played this song on a koa Flea ukulele. The settings on the H4 were the defaults. And multi-tracking is quite easy once you get the hang of it. The quick-start guide that comes with the H4 should get you going in a matter of minutes.

Thank you for the song Genius J! Nice playing and great singing. I love that song and the double voices.

I have just bought a H4. I hope that I get as proficient on recording techniques as you seem to have done. Great result.
