I wrote my first love song today and recorded a demo of it. It’s called “Fear”.
I still think it needs work and I may revisit it later. (This has now become my standard disclaimer.)

For what it’s worth I think this song is absolutely lovely and you shouldn’t change a thing. To my ears it’s perfect as it is.
Really nice. Sweet song, sweet tone (what uke are you playing?)
This song is exactly “in tune” with the long-time tradition of ukulele playing. It sounds like it could have been written anytime in the past 100+ years. Only the subtleties of the lyrics give a hint to its historical place.
Most important, your voice is right for the instrument and the song. I’m distressed that so many modern players treat their instrument as a servant to their vocal act, rather than a partner. You’ve struck the balance. Kudos from an old-timer.
Thanks for the kudos. I was playing a koa Flea on this one.
