Hey, baby.

Tonight TJ said his first word. At least I think it was.
So he’s having dinner and he spots the picture of the baby on the side of the food jar, and mommy says, “See the baby?” and TJ replies, “Baby!” Then he proceeds to say it a few more times just to be sure. And it wasn’t “ba ba ba ba” or babbling, it was really “baby”.
Was it really his first word? I dunno… I think he’s said “cup” before, but he seems to call everything “cup” or “duf” or “dut” so it’s hard to tell for sure.
I’m pretty sure Eva’s first word was “banana” because she says it every time we feed bananas to her, except she pronounces it “nanana” so I’m not sure it counts.
They both refer to their mommy and daddy as “mambo” and “dodo” respectively. How very insightful.
